We at Global Neighborhood deeply value and appreciate all our volunteers.  We know that as a volunteer, you will have both good and difficult experiences and we want to share in those with you.  We are committed to meeting regularly with all our volunteers, as well as providing them whatever support we can.  This includes: volunteer training courses, cultural information, advice on ESL and relational issues, access to resources, monthly one-on-one meetings, and prayer.  As a volunteer, we will send you out, but we will also walk with you. Feel free to contact Amy, Global Neighborhood's Volunteer Coordinator, with any questions or concerns. Below are some resources to help you along the way:

Classy Rack Voucher Program Instructions

Global Neighborhood has been blessed with a partnership with Classy Rack Thrift Stores, a business under the umbrella of Union Gospel Mission. Our volunteers work to connect refugees with the physical resources they need through a voucher program. Contact Amy at amy@global-neighborhood.org for Classy Rack vouchers for a refugee family. Make sure to read over our Instructions for Using Classy Rack Vouchers before taking a family! These instructions, as well as our philosphy on need, can also be found in the Global Neighborhood Volunteer Training Manual.
