ESL Classes
Time: 3:30 pm
Each ESL session will consist of volunteers pairing up with individual refugees to help them with English, as well as assist them in looking for jobs, helping write resumes, practicing English conversation, and anything else a refugee may ask for. We will also need anyone experienced in ESL development or teaching to gather materials during the week before each class. Full-time volunteers already working with Global Neighborhood are welcome to come as well, though this extra service opportunity is not required.
Each class will last from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, to concentrate the numbers of people who come, and will make class times clearer to refugees. We will need volunteers to stay for the whole session so that we can maintain a predictable quantity of help.
