Volunteer Opportunities
VESL Volunteer
VESL volunteers support adult refugee learners through conversation circles and classroom activities, helping build understanding, confidence, and oral English skills. Volunteers work in a trauma-informed, inclusive environment to support workplace language and job readiness—no prior experience needed, but alignment with our values of connection, belonging, learning, and cross-cultural engagement.
Communications and Marketing Volunteer
The Communications and Marketing volunteer will help create social media posts, draft emails, create simple graphics, and perform other assorted tasks. They will assist with sharing program updates, events, and impact stories to encourage community engagement and increase donations to Global Neighborhood.
Commitment would be 3-5 hours per week with availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 8 am and 2 pm.
Decorations Volunteer
The Warehouse Prom decorations volunteer will assist in making decorations for Global Neighborhood's annual Warehouse Prom fundraiser/dance. They will help make our event an immersive and dynamic experience for attendees and donors.
Interested in volunteering? Email info@global-neighborhood.org and tell us a little about yourself and the role you’re interested in.
